Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 2, 2026  |  Last Updated: April 2, 2026

FastArc ("we", "our", "the app") is a fasting tracker designed with your privacy in mind. This policy explains what data we collect, how it's stored, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

Health & Fitness Data. With your explicit permission, FastArc reads and writes the following Apple HealthKit data: heart rate, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, body temperature, weight, and blood glucose. This data is used solely to provide personalized fasting insights, safety monitoring, and biometric trend charts within the app.

Fasting History. Your fasting sessions, streaks, journal entries, mood logs, and electrolyte tracking are stored on your device using Core Data.

Subscription Data. If you subscribe to FastArc Pro or Pro+, Apple processes and stores your payment information. We receive only a transaction receipt confirming your subscription status — never your payment details.

Diagnostics. The app uses Apple's unified logging (OSLog) for crash diagnostics. These logs remain on your device and are only shared with Apple if you opt into Apple's device analytics program.

2. Data Storage & Sync

All fasting data is stored locally on your device by default. If you are a Pro+ subscriber and signed into iCloud, your fasting history syncs via Apple CloudKit to your personal iCloud account. This means your data is encrypted in transit and at rest using Apple's infrastructure — we never operate our own servers or databases.

HealthKit data is never stored in iCloud or transmitted off your device by FastArc. Apple's HealthKit framework enforces this restriction at the operating-system level.

3. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party. FastArc contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising frameworks, and no tracking pixels. Your data stays on your device (and optionally your personal iCloud account).

4. Your Rights

Data Export. FastArc includes a built-in data export feature (Settings → Export Data) that lets you download your complete fasting history as a CSV or JSON file at any time.

Data Deletion. You can delete all app data by uninstalling FastArc or using the "Delete All Data" option in Settings. If CloudKit sync is enabled, you can also remove synced data from iCloud via Apple's iCloud settings.

GDPR & CCPA. If you are a resident of the European Economic Area or California, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Because all data is stored on-device or in your personal iCloud, you already have full control. For any additional requests, contact us at the address below.

5. Children's Privacy

FastArc is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through an in-app notice. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
